It was great to start graduation photos early with a beautiful girl named Raven. It actually rained all weekend, and in the morning prior to this but we were still able to make it happen. I was a little nervous because I wanted to make sure that hers came out awesome (since she was my first person and I knew that would be an important advertising point) so I literally walked around campus and posed exactly how I was going to direct her the day before LOL. I thought it would be cool to incorporate an 'R' balloon because I always saw '15 balloons (for Class of 2015) but I had never seen anyone use the letter of their name (I actually personally wanted this for my own grad photos lol). Little did I know what I was getting myself into because shooting with a balloon is not easy especially when it has a mind of its own and keeps turning itself backwards in all of the shots that actually would look really well! But, I couldn't have asked for a better first because she photographed very well, and took to directions very well. The cool thing about photographing is that it does give you the chance to meet/chat with people that you probably would have never met before and this shoot was just that. Raven was funny, and very patient/down with all of my ideas (you'd be surprised how many people look at me like I'm crazy with some of the things I ask them to do lol) and I was very excited about how everything turned out!
